Stephen & Sheh Mi are missionaries to the Lahu people of Northern Thailand, currently they live and minister in the Lahu village of Huaymakang between Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai.

They have a God given vision to help these poverty stricken people be set free to be all they can in life.

 

Mission/Vision for the Lahu people of Northern Thailand.

 

FrontRow Ministries “Child Development Project”.

We see this project as the spearhead to help change a culture of poverty and oppression in the village to one of freedom by giving the children “hope and a future” through education, love and compassion.

This is a three phase Project:

  1.    A free Preschool for the village children. Already open with 15 kids but with over 40 kids on the waiting list. at the moment we operate under a small house. A facility in currently under construction
  2. Providing a volunteer English teacher/assistant at the village Primary School. I have been doing this for almost 2 years but need a replacement so I can spend more time developing and overseeing the project.
  3. A free Refuge/Hostel for those children in physical, emotional and moral danger. There are many children in this and surrounding villages that are in danger of falling victim to all kinds of horrific issues, for both girls and boys. Currently we have hostel about 60klms away to send kids to for temporary accommodation but this hostel is has reached its capacity.  It is our hope to construct a Hostel closer to the children’s village and families.

Obviously this is a long term project but if you want to change lives you must be prepared to start with the kids. These kids deserve a “Hope and a Future”, we ask that you pray and believe with us for the finances and manpower required to do this.
